Packing Frenzy

Keith and I close this coming Thursday and we’re trying our best to get everything packed up so we can move out. Check out how lovely our house looks, it’s starting to make me twitch. T-minus two days until closing.

Coconut Cake

Here's another recipe from Bee. It's similar to the Jell-O Cake recipe.

You'll need:

1 box of white cake mix (and all the add-ins, egg whites, oil, water)

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of milk

cool-whip

coconut

Here's how to make:

Bake cake mix according to directions. Right before cake is done, boil 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of milk and a handful of coconut. Pour mixture over hot cake. (I poked holes in the top of the cake as well before pouring the mixture over.) Let cool completely. Top with cool whip and coconut.

Long time, No Post

Not much has been happening lately, which I guess is a good thing. Mom and dad came up yesterday to help with home repairs (stuff that was noted on the inspection report that the buyers wanted fixed). So Keith and Dad repaired gutters, shingles, wood and chases, while Mom and I started packing up some stuff. T-minus 18 days until closing.

Keith and I saw The Dark Knight today... very good movie, but it's fairly long.

Note to self: August 10, 2008… I really don't want to go to work tomorrow.
